who specializes in documentaries through her production company Aurora Vision where acts as CEO.
Lia Beltrami has received the Golden Lion for Peace 2017 in Venice. She directed 40 documentaries all over the world, winning several awards. Lia is appointed as Representative of Religions for Peace at FAO-UN. She was the artistic director at Vatican Pavilion at Expo Milan 2015, which was awarded as the Pavilion which best developed the theme, and she was the artistic director for the photographic exhibition in Expo Astana 2017, Kazakhstan. In 1997, she founded Religion Today Film Festival, the first festival about inter-religious dialogue. She founded the group Women of Faith for Peace in Jerusalem. Beltrami has also authored five books . She is the CEO of the production company Aurora Vision, advisor for Dhaka Film Festival Bangladesh and member of the House of Wisdom, Grenada.
Her latest film includes: TEARS AND DREAMS: A journey among the Burmese refugees Akha, the opium trafficking, the slavery of girls in the “giraffe women” village, the victims of trafficking, the friendship of a small group of nuns with a Buddhist monk…
Tears and Dreams

WELLS OF HOPE: Stories of Arab women who fights human trafficking in Lebanon, Jordan, Syria. They move between borders, conflicts and refugees to restore the dignity of the victims and rebuild the dignity of the abused people.
